23 May 2019 TasWater welcomes the government’s commitment to Mac Point
TasWater welcomes today’s budget announcement on funding for the relocation of Macquarie Point Sewage Treatment Plant. “We are continuing to work collaboratively with government on the most effective way to move Macquarie Point forward,” says TasWater CEO Mike Brewster.
21 May 2019 Water level lowered for Risdon Brook Dam maintenance
TasWater plans to lower the water level in Risdon Brook Dam as part of a scheduled maintenance program. It will involve the removal of vegetation from within the dam, which will help improve the water quality.

Contractors have completed work on the installation of a new water filling station at Coles Bay. It is located approximately 500 meters north of Coles Bay, on an access track off Coles Bay Road and will provide water from the Coles Bay Water Treatment Plant.
