What we offer

  • Flexibility
Flexibility is more than just work/life balance. We encourage our team members to think about what works for them, their team and their customers, and explore ways of working that supports them to do the things that matter to them. This could look like hybrid work arrangements, flexible start and finish times, part time hours, RDO arrangements or purchased leave.
  • Parental Leave and Support
We want our people to be able to embrace the joys and responsibilities of early parenthood without feeling like they need to choose between their career and spending time together as a new family. Recognising that no two families are the same, we offer 18 weeks of paid parental leave to all employees, regardless of gender or primary/secondary carer status. We also offer 38 hours paid pre-parental leave to attend appointments related to pregnancy, surrogacy, IVF or adoption. Full superannuation contributions are paid for up to two years, even when return to work is gradual.
  • Health and Wellbeing

We want to support you to be your best, and that includes being the healthiest version of yourself. You will have access to free annual flu vaccinations, plus discounted health insurance offers through our corporate partners (St Luke's, BUPA and Medibank).

  • Salary Packaging - Maxxia

TasWater are in partnership with a specialist workplace benefits provider, Maxxia, to provide you with salary packaging and novated lease options

  • Learning and Development
There are a wide range of training and professional development opportunities available to support your learning and development needs. This includes internal secondments, project work, higher duties opportunities, industry networking, professional qualifications, and vocational training.
  • Employee Assistance Program and Contact Officers
We are committed to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment. We recognise that from time to time, you may need additional support if you are experiencing personal or work-related problems. Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides free, confidential counselling services for all employees and their immediate family members. We also have a network of Contact Officers across the business who can be the first point of contact for anyone who has a work-related concern relating to discrimination, harassment, bullying or other work-related issues.
  • Reward and Recognition
Our SPLASH awards program recognises and rewards employees and teams who go above and beyond and demonstrate exceptional commitment to our values and behaviours. SPLASH nominations are peer-to-peer, meaning that anyone in the organisation can nominate another person for an award. We also recognise and celebrate service milestones.
