Applications for our 2025 graduate program opened on the Friday 28th June 2024 and closed on Monday 22nd July.

Our Graduate Program 2025 application process required applicants to upload their resume and academic transcript, as well as a 3-minute video. In this video, applicants had the opportunity to tell us about themselves and answer a set of questions. We value unique experiences and perspectives and don't just rely on academic achievements.  

From there, once shortlisted, applicants received a take-home assignment and given 10 minutes to present to a panel, before a short formal interview. The presentation and interview were a total of 30 minutes. 

You must have graduated from an Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree from the before the Graduate Program commences. We also require valid working rights for a minimum of 2 years from the commencement of the program.

The 2025 Graduate program will commence in February 2025.

Applications for the 2025 opened in May 2024 and closed in July 2024. 

TasWater is a multi-disciplinary organisation and our employees have broad and varied educational backgrounds. We will consider all areas of study for our Graduate program, so regardless of your degree discipline we want you to apply!

Throughout our Graduate program you will gain exposure to different areas of our business via rotations. These are designed to give you a rounded experience in our business which will help you to identify the areas you're most passionate about and where you want to grow your career. 

During your last rotation our Talent Acquisition team will run sessions designed to set you up for success and guide you through the process of applying for open positions within TasWater.   

The 2-year TasWater Graduate program consists of three rotations which each last for eight months. Graduates will get the opportunity to work across different areas of our organisation.

Your rotation preference and areas of interest will be taken into consideration along with the needs of the business. 

In addition to on the job learning across each rotation, you will also participate in TasWater's Graduate Professional Development Program. This Development Program consists of in-person and virtual training sessions on relevant soft skill development topics over a 16 month period.

Graduates also gain the opportunity to spend time learning about different teams across our organisation, as well as leadership shadowing opportunities between each rotation.
