North East Asset Art

Asset Art in the North East of Tasmania

The expansion of the art asset program into North East Tasmania has been met with enthusiasm and community support, transforming TasWater assets into canvases of creativity. This initiative engages local artists and youth, bringing a sense of ownership and pride to the region. The murals in North East Tasmania reflect the area's rich heritage and natural beauty, with themes that resonate deeply with residents.

Projects like "The Alphabet" at Watchorn Street Reservoir, which involved children from Stewart Child Care Centre, and "Mother Nature Reclaiming the Wall" in Launceston, highlight the collaborative spirit and environmental consciousness of the community. These artworks not only enhance the visual appeal of public spaces but also serve as a testament to the power of community involvement in creating lasting, positive change.

Currently there are 4 locations in Launceston and the surrounding suburbs.
