Rosebery Rosebery Additional Treated Water Storage

What's this project all about?

The Rosebery drinking water supply network services approximately 700 customers in the west coast of Tasmania.

Prior to the construction of the new reservoir the Rosebery water network had limited treated water storage capacity.  The limited capacity had the potential to result in an inability for TasWater to meet its obligations to supply treated water to meet customer demands in the event of a failure of the bulk water main or water pump station.

A new 1200kL reservoir was constructed adjacent to the existing Mt Black reservoir, increasing the network storage capacity and ensuring the residents of Rosebery have access to safe and reliable drinking water.

This project was delivered by the TasWater Capital Delivery Office, along with additional water storage construction at Triabunna, Tunbridge and Coles Bay.
