We like to be involved in our community in various ways, and our partnership program is one way we can get involved and provide support.
We receive a range of proposals giving us the opportunity to support individuals, clubs and organisations. With each proposal careful consideration is given, as a state owned entity we have limited funds and resources for activities.
Our desire is to concentrate our efforts on grassroots, community-based initiatives designed to engage and enhance our relationships with local communities around Tasmania.
We prefer to focus on attending community events and festivals in person where possible or with displays and equipment where we’re unable to be there.
To help us decide, we assess each proposal against a criterion. These criteria include:
- Ensuring the activity or event is in line with our mission, vision and values
- Providing a link to core business of water and wastewater in some way
- Priority is also given to sponsorship packages that have benefit to our community
- We work within a small annual budget, so there is no guarantee all proposals will be approved, even if they meet the criteria
Please note: We do not supply bottles or items for show bags or giveaways.
