Beautification by means of art installations on our highly visible assets.

We want your input.
We have identified several assets across the State to be included in our beautification program of works. However, we are always on the look out for more.
We will work with local schools, community groups, youth groups, local artists to bring an idea to life.
Recent works
Bellerive Reservoir
Local artists and members of the Clarence City Council Youth Services team recently completed their latest installation at the Bellerive Reservoir, Grandma's Wall 2.0.
The concrete reservoir is a focal point of Bellerive located at the intersection of Ormond and Waverley Street.
Grandma’s Wall 2.0 is designed to give the community the sense of looking your grandma’s lounge room or hallway walls. Artists Trent Fischer, Todd Jacobson, Harrison Bowe, Zac Henderson, Joel Gadja, Ben Jacobson, James ‘Kreamart’ Cowan, Reuben Holford, Qom Hart and Tom Deams completed individual smaller pieces to cover the visible section of the reservoir.
This is the second art installation on the Bellerive Reservoir after the original Grandma’s Wall was removed when the tank was resurfaced.

Avoca Reservoir
The Avoca Reservoir located on the side of the Esk Main Road has received a recent makeover. Artists Harrison Bowe and James ‘Kreamart’ Cowan worked through all possible weather conditions over the course of 7 days in June 2023 to deliver two stunning murals on the prominent reservoir.
Harrison has depicted the morning light touching a cathedral of dolomite from Stacks Bluff – at the southern end of Ben Lomond National Park, a local treasure of epic proportions.
Kreamart has depicted the beloved wedge tail eagle – also a local treasure, which happened to be spotted circling the reservoir over the days of painting.
A commitment was made to the Northern Midlands Council and community in 2019 that this reservoir would be included in our asset painting program, Covid delayed delivery – but we think the end result was worth the wait.
