Each quarter we produce a customer newsletter, providing a snapshot of our latest activities across the state. The newsletter covers everything from our latest infrastructure projects, maintenance on key assets, to community events. Saturday April 16, 2022  As part of TasWater’s mission to spread awareness of where water comes from and the treatment process, the organisation has launched a brand-new website.
The microsite, called Sharing Water, is just one part of a range of educational resources and initiatives being rolled out.
Saturday March 19, 2022 WHEN TasWater customers open their bills from next month, they might notice they look a little different. A new-look bill has been developed to help make paying and navigating billing information easier.

Throughout the year, testing and maintenance programs continue to be rolled out to help stay on top of any issues, in addition to providing information to inform any future upgrades and projects. Water conservation may not be at the forefront of people’s minds while they pack a suitcase, but TasWater would like to remind Tasmanians and its visitors that it’s up to all of us to use water wisely.

But do you know how many times a day you use your taps?  The average Aussie turns on their tap nine times a day, and Tasmanians use around 200 million litres of water per day, that's about 80 Olympic sized swimming pools!

SINCE its formation in 2013, TasWater has spent almost a billion dollars improving infrastructure across Tasmania. This investment has allowed TasWater to deliver projects such as the 24glasses Regional Towns Water Supply Program, which removed permanent public health alerts from 29 towns and drinking water systemsBut there is plenty more to do.
