Bracknell residents can now enjoy stronger, more reliable water pressure following the completion of upgrade works at the Bracknell Water Treatment Plant.
The recent upgrades included the installation of new booster pumps to improve water services and deliver more reliable water pressure for the local community.
TasWater Community Engagement Lead Laura Joss thanked local residents and businesses for their patience whilst the upgrade was carried out over the summer period.
“The upgrade is an important step in improving service reliability and will improve both water pressure for Bracknell customers and the overall performance of the local network,” said Ms Joss.
“We appreciate the patience of local residents and businesses while the upgrade was completed with minimal community disruption.”
The project follows recent water quality challenges in the Bracknell area, including a Boil Water Alert issued earlier this year, which has since been lifted.
The upgrade forms part of TasWater’s broader program of investment in water infrastructure to improve reliability and support communities across the state.
