TasWater Named Official Hydration Partner of the Hobart Hurricanes
Cricket Tasmania is proud to announce TasWater as the official hydration partner of the Hobart Hurricanes W/BBL teams for the coming season.
Cricket Tasmania’s Partnership & Infrastructure General Manager, Alison Turner, confirming the agreement supports the provision of hygienic reusable water bottles for players aligning with Cricket Tasmania’s long-term commitment to environmental sustainability.
“We welcome TasWater into our cricket family and look forward to a long and successful partnership” explained Turner.
The agreement will see the TasWater brand featured across a range of assets including players vests, team eskies and venue signage with the Bellerive Function Centre becoming the official conference & meeting venue for TasWater.
TasWater Head of Brand and Insights Samuel Paske said the organisation was thrilled to support the Hobart Hurricanes.
“Hydration is key for peak performance - whether you're an elite athlete or simply going about your day,” Mr Paske said.
“This partnership will ensure players and fans alike have access to quality drinking water that keeps everyone performing at their best.
“We’re excited to use this partnership to bring greater awareness to the importance of tap water, not just for hydration, but for affordability and sustainability - we encourage all Tasmanians to become refillers, not landfillers."
Providing safe, clean, and high-quality drinking water is at the heart of what TasWater does every day, Mr Paske said.
“Partnering with the Hobart Hurricanes allows us to showcase the importance of quality water in our community, ensuring that every sip meets the highest standards,” he said.
“We will work with fans, families, and young athletes in learning more about how water impacts our lives and the ways we can all contribute to a healthier future.
“We already hold a number of events at Ninja Stadium every year including with the construction industry, businesses, developers and other key stakeholders. This partnership is an extension of the use of the function facilities at no additional expense to TasWater.”
