About us

Want to be a valued member of an exciting alliance; a designer, creator, a manager of infrastructure build that is making a difference in people’s lives every day? We may have the role for you.

TasWater’s Capital Delivery Office (CDO) is responsible for delivering TasWater's major infrastructure projects. These extensive, interesting, and varied works form part of TasWater’s $1.1 billion, 3-year capital works program that is being rolled out across the state of Tasmania.

The CDO is an alliance formed between TasWaterCPB Contractors, and UGL Limited (both members of the CIMIC Group) along with WSP Australia, to create the TasWater Capital Delivery Office. Our business delivers timely, cost-effective, quality capital works solutions to meet the needs of TasWater stakeholders, and communities across Tasmania. While ensuring the best long-term water supply and sewage treatment solutions are out in place, we are also introducing new technologies

The CDO manages a broad range of projects concurrently. Our responsibilities include planning and investigation, project development and engineering, and program management through to overseeing project delivery by our various contractors, the majority of whom we are proud to say are Tasmanian-based businesses.

Safety is always our number one priority, everyone home safely every day, our contractors included, followed by the care of our beautiful Tasmanian environment and respect for our Tasmanian Indigenous history.

Ours is a strong, values-based, and friendly culture where teamwork allows us to deliver. If you love a challenging, fast-paced, and truly supportive and friendly team environment with a 'speak-up' culture, we'd like to hear from you!

Your next opportunity

We work collaboratively to deliver diverse projects concurrently and we have a full pipeline ahead of us. This means as opposed to contributing your skills to a single project, variety is more likely to be the norm. You can be proud that you will play an important part in leaving a lasting legacy for the communities of Tasmania.

Roles can be located in Hobart, Launceston, and Devonport as well as close to project sites across the State. Should you need to relocate to Tasmania to take up an opportunity with us, relocation assistance is available.

Your Health & Wellbeing

Your health and well-being are important to us; you’ll enjoy the support offered via our Health & Wellbeing program where monthly themes and related activities are available for you to take part in. Join us to continue building a mentally healthy, active workplace.

Take advantage of;

 • A free employee assistance program providing confidential counselling and support for our employees and their immediate families.
  • A supportive health and well-being focussed environment
 • The fact that we celebrate diversity and inclusiveness - our team of @150 people has more than 21 cultures represented - a fact of which we are very proud.
  • Free annual flu vaccinations.

Your Personal & Professional Growth

We are committed to the personal and professional growth of our team, we support our people to be their very best.

You’ll have the opportunity to learn from some of the best in the construction industry with many of team members coming from Tier 1 construction companies and many with global experience.
