Imagine if planning, building, and plumbing approvals could all be lodged and managed using one on-line portal.
Very soon that will be reality.
Life will be easier.
PlanBuild Tasmania is the new development application portal that will bring assessing agencies into a central solution for the lodgement, tracking and management of planning, building and plumbing applications.
At present, The PlanBuild Tasmania Enquiry Service lets you enter an address state-wide to see what planning zones and codes apply to that property. PlanBuild can generate a property report that includes maps, codes, details of the planning zone, and other information relevant to the selected property.
In the months ahead, Application Services will allow for TasWater referrals and applications to be lodged and tracked as it is rolled out across the state.
The Big Picture.
PlanBuild Tasmania will ultimately provide a central portal for the management of development application processes across the whole of Tasmania. TasWater, State Government, Councils and other stakeholders are working with the PlanBuild team to progress its functionality.
TasWater and all agencies recognise the benefits to the entire development community by providing a state-wide portal. TasWater continues to work with the State Government and the PlanBuild team so that it can be adopted as soon as possible.
TasWater will provide ongoing updates as the project unfolds.
