Portable Water Stations As a part of our Community Programs we have sets of portable water stations we can provide free of charge for large outdoor community events. To request one or more portable water stations, please complete our portable water station request form. The value of the water stations is a $500 per day in kind sponsorship. We'd love you to share the use of our portable water stations on your event's social media posts, website. Just let us know if you need photos or our logo to use. It's a great way to get your attendees to avoid single use plastic bottles too - we recommend reminding patrons ahead of time to bring their own water bottles for a free refill. Requirements Before completing the application, please ensure the following: All associated documents to be received at least five weeks prior to the event including; Map location of the tap to be used (a mark on a google map, event site map etc.) of where the water station will be located A photo of the tap showing some surroundings, and Your Public Liability Insurance paperwork (Certificate of Currency) The portable water stations must only be connected to a tap supplied by TasWater reticulated drinking water Drinking water tap should be within seven metres of the portable water station site The water stations must be collected from and returned to your nearest TasWater office in Devonport, Launceston or Moonah. Please note: This form does not confirm your booking. Bookings are subject to availability and full terms and conditions. We cannot accept an application that does not allow enough time for a water sample to be scheduled, and results returned ahead of an event. Information for Organisers So your event is coming up! Criteria acceptance Date criteria was accepted* - required If your event is less than six weeks away, we will not be able to supply you with a portable water station. This is due to the water testing and coordination required. TasWater holds no responsibility for the water station becoming unavailable as a result of a breakdown or other unforeseen circumstances. TasWater will determine which water station will be most suitable for your event subject to availability. I understand that if there is no event security on site overnight, the units must be packed down and stored in a secure location. The sponsorship value of the water station is $500 per day in kind.
