JackJumpers

Defend the island, one bottle at a time.

Our mission to reduce plastic in Tasmania’s land and waterways aligns perfectly with the JackJumper’s mission to ‘Defend the Island'. We've partnered with the Tasmania JackJumpers to roll out an ambitious statewide refill and reuse water program throughout 2024 and 2025.

The team’s beloved mascot Jack the Jumper will join with TasWater’s community programs team on a mission to promote tap water, highlight the importance of healthy hydration and reduce Tasmanians' dependence on single-use plastic. Together, we can encourage community, and other Tasmanian organisations, to join the fight against plastic pollution one bottle, coffee cup and plastic bag at a time.

Hobart Hurricanes

Be a refiller, not a landfiller.

As the Official Hydration Partner of the Hobart Hurricanes, we’re thrilled to bring Australia’s best-tasting tap water to the field.

This partnership, launched November 2024, supports Cricket Tasmania’s focus on sustainability, with TasWater providing hygienic, reusable water bottles for players. Our commitment to high-quality, affordable hydration aligns with the Hurricanes’ performance goals and allows us to engage with fans on the importance of tap water.

Together, we encourage all Tasmanians to “Be a Refiller, Not a Landfiller” and make sustainable hydration choices.
