What was this project all about?

The Cambridge Road Water Main Renewal is part of our commitment to delivering improved infrastructure and quality drinking water to the community of Bellerive. The project replaced 572 meters of water main from Ormond Street to Cambridge Road and included remediation of the road. This project is one of many being delivered by TasWater in the Bellerive Area.

We sought to

• Provide regular communication and updates to keep you informed of our activities throughout the project.
• Communicate service interruptions by written notification to businesses and residents, and to speak with businesses directly regarding requirements.
• Provide traffic management personnel to ensure you had safe and direct access to and from your property during traffic restrictions.
• Minimise any inconvenience during construction and keep machinery-related noise to a minimum in out of hours works.
