Residents on the Western shore may be experiencing cloudy/white water from their taps.
This is due to the volume of water coming off the mountain system in Hobart.
The water is safe to drink.
Cloudy water is caused by tiny air bubbles in the water which make it appear white.
They’re not harmful and quickly clear, rising from the bottom of the glass upwards.
